No one likes to think about being in a motor accident, but it's important to know what to do if it happens.
The first thing you should do is stay calm and assess the situation. If you're injured, call for medical help right away. If the accident is obstructing traffic, call the police. Once you've taken care of any immediate safety concerns, you can start gathering information about the accident.
Get the contact information of any witnesses and take pictures of the damage. It's also a good idea to exchange insurance details with the other driver (If another vehicle is involved).
